Trekking Knife with Leather Sheath - Red or Blue
Opinel have been making knives since 1890, when Joseph Opinel made his first knives in Savoie, France. They're still made in France over 120 years later, and not much has changed since those first knives. Sure, a few improvements have come along the way, like the Virobloc system that allows the blade of the knife to be safely locked into either an open or closed position, but it is still recognisably the same classic design that proved popular with French farmers so many years ago.
Here, the traditional Opinel folding knife No. 8 is available with a useful leather thong and a coloured beech wood handle. The genuine leather pouch can be worn on your belt for convenience. The corrosion-resistant stainless-steel blade is made from Swedish Sandvik steel and requires no special care.
The perfect camping knife, it is also great for avid gardeners.
